Ok, not 1000 Plugins, but it feels like that when you are searching around trying to figure out which ones to add to your blog.

    Hi Heather, what a valuable post! Plugins are confusing for the beginner blogger such as I. Your post is a shot if encouragement in the process of figuring them out and prioritizing.

    Heather,

    Thanks for the info. A lot of these I use but a lot I will be checking out. One I use that I don’t see listed is; Yoast WordPress SEO It really helps to get my keywords, title, meta, etc. ready for the search engines.

    I cannot thank you enough for this post. I just recently switched my wordpress.com blog to a wordpress.org blog and am trying to set it up myself. I’m going through these plug-ins that you listed as we speak. Thank you again for taking the time to help those of us “newbys” at this!
